The ELETTA is a machine for “foredge trimming” of the book block and magasines, inline on the binding line when the book cover has flaps. The cutting blade has an oblique scissor movement. When mounted inline on a binding line this machine ensures books with cover flaps are bound in one pass.

The book cover is opened horizontally by way of suction cups, placing it in the trimming position, allowing the front edge of the book block to be trimmed using the cutting blade. The cutting blade has an oblique scissor movement and levelling bar. Due to the simplicity of the machine a wide variety of work can be undertaken, ie stitched and milled volumes, magazines, etc.
